Programs and Internships
Work Experience at the Australian National University: The observatory offers a limited number of work experience places to year 10, 11 and 12 students each year. These placements are typically 1 week in duration and the students work on an astronomical project under the supervision of professional astronomers.
International Astronomy Summer Internship Program: The summer internship is designed for pupils in the final years of high school, or those who have just finished high school. During their three-week stay, participants work on a variety of astrophysical observations and experiments.
